Have you ever had a long day at work and just not had the energy to decide what to cook for dinner? Or gotten to the grocery store and can't find your ingredient even though you swear it was in this aisle last time? MealMap takes the guess work out of grocery shopping and meal planning by using AI to learn your preferences, dietary needs, and budget and adjust your lists and shopping location accordingly.

Project Overview

MealMap is an AI-powered grocery shopping assistant that aims to reduce decision fatigue/meal planning and aid in in-store navigation. It learns your dietary preferences and budgetary needs then builds meal(s) with these needs in build. The chatbot assistant is there to assist you if you don't want to put the energy into planning a meal or you just need substitute suggestions. MealMap also uses GPS location to help you navigate to your grocery items on the most efficient path.

Design Challenge

How might we help adults simplify meal planning and grocery shopping by using narrow AI to automatically build budget-conscious lists and assist with in-store navigation—all while ensuring the experience remains accessible and inclusive for diverse users?
